SD-Sensor, a performance measurement solution from DAAT Technologies' helps businesses better leverage BI data in quicker and more effective decision-making. By enabling early, automated detection of negative trends emerging within observed systems, SD-Sensor adds robust predictive capacity to Corporate Performance Management and Employee Performance Management software. Rather than " smoke detector " , SD-Sensor works as a " pain receptor " warning decision makers on the developing problem long before it will actually happen. SD-Sensor leverages strengths of Balanced Scorecard and System Dynamics and addresses their known limitations. SD-Sensor supports automated monitoring of key performance indicators (KPI), enabling simulation-based early detection of negative trends, identification of abnormal patterns and proactive support for decision-making. This capacity is provided by sets of simplified System Dynamic models of Multiple Criteria KPI integrated within Selfridge's Pandemonium architecture. SD-Sensor provides real-time decision support by simulating a number of possible future states of a system to explore a variety of management solutions. It uses a combination of Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis, Case-Based Reasoning and System Archetypes for picking corrective action that has the best impact on the bottom line.
